My approach follows what glows.~.
As a client myself, I know the healing power a therapeutic relationship holds, so nurturing a trusting, honest, and caring connection between us is central to my work, as is working with what is felt and sensed.
Working non-judgementally, and at your pace, we will explore what is present for you. We can use both talking and creative methods (such as writing, poetry photos, crafts, visualisation, music, and more) to help you connect with your feelings and experiences.
Over time, these explorations will build awareness, and we will follow these insights to identify patterns, and consider different ways of being and relating in the world that feel sustainable and enriching for you.
This way of working is informed by person-centred and creative-relational approaches, as well as my doctoral research where I explored stories of trauma and loss. Rather than finding distinct and tellable stories, I found the glow of something felt, which I called Glow Worms. By following Glow Worms, I found different ways of relating with trauma, loss, and life, and you can too.
Together, we will find, and follow, what glows for you.
